Over
ten different organizations attended the events in Washington,
DC. We divided into groups and each group met
with state legislators and senators on September 17. Our group
visited Senator GK Butterfield, NC, Congressman Bill Pascrell,
NJ, and Sen Robert Casey, PA requesting their support for various
Bills that currently exist regarding campus fire safety.
We got to meet Sen Joe Wilson
of SC and tell him our story.
